The Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation is honoured to announce the expansion of its mobile prostate cancer screening initiative, targeting the provision of critical health services to those in need. From April 17 to April 20, the Foundation conducted an extensive medical outreach for members of the Medical & Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria. This included participants from esteemed institutions such as the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba; Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Meta; Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi; Lagos University Teaching Hospital; and NAFDAC.
The Foundation’s expert mobile team offered complimentary prostate cancer screenings for men above 40 years old, alongside blood sugar and blood pressure assessments for women and younger men. The four-day event encompassed informative health talks and personalised counselling for all attendees, as the mobile team visited each of the various locations.
The Dozy Mmobuosi Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to serve the community by providing essential, life-saving health services to those who need them most. This initiative exemplifies our unwavering dedication to improving the well-being of our fellow citizens and our continuous efforts to raise the bar in healthcare accessibility.
